There really is only one negative aspect of going to Disney World. What is probably not a surprise to anyone, it does cost a small fortune to get there, have transportation around, and to actually get into the park/s. I have this fear of spending large amounts of money. Any purchase over $100 gives me chills.

Despite this I had a fantastic time in Disney World. I bought a 4 day pass, but only used 3 days of it. Not to worry the difference between 3 and 4 days is like 8 bucks so I wasn't a big deal. 2 days was spent in Epcot while another day was spent in Disney's Hollywood Studios. I didn't go to the Animal Kingdom or the Magical Kingdom parks. From what I read these last two parks didn't really have much that interested me.

Epcot is a fantastic park. It required the two day visit just to cover all of the attractions it features. From the theme rides to the multi-national showcase there is just so much to do. The best highlights are the Test track which is a roller-coaster-ish ride that simulates a car test through extreme weather and speeds with the riders in the position of the crash test dummies. However, in my most humble opinion, the best ride, and the only ride I rode twice, was "Mission: Space." Basically it is a ride that simulates a space flight to Mars. The riders are divided into teams of four; a pilot, a navigator, a commander, and an engineer. These teams are put into a dark and enclosed ';pod' with a video screen. Each crewmember has to push a button/s at a particular moment otherwise you fail the ride. Sound easy right? Except I chose the more intense version of the ride where you are spun around on a centrifuge that applies G-Forces to the riders to simulate an actuall space shuttle take off and gravity assisted slingshot around the moon. Now this is the second time I've been to Disney world, the first time was back in 2000, and not much has changed. A few things, yes, but about 90% of the park is the same.

The multi-national showcase is another great part of Epcot. You can travel to parts of the park that are built to reflect the different architecture of different countries like China, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Germany, France, and even America. These 'countries' have restaurants that serve authentic foods from their respective country as well as demonstrations, acts, and/or rides that help reflect the culture of each country.

Anyway, I had a fantastic time and I highly recommend that you all go there at least once in your lifetime.
